Marine collagen is hydrolyzed into tiny peptides small enough to cross the gut barrier and reach the dermis. NORDPURE peptides are processed to a 3 kDa molecular weight, approximately one-third the size of bovine collagen and the threshold at which absorption efficiency peaks.
